'CrossFit Kids is not merely a scaled down version of CrossFit. It is entirely and absolutely CrossFit, geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population' Mikki Lee Martin.
CrossFit Kids combines gymnastics, body weight movements and weightlifting elements to develop the 10 Physical Skills (Cardiovascular Endurance; Strength; Stamina; Flexibility; Power; Speed; Coordination; Accuracy; Agility and Balance).
For CrossFit Kids it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, we do this with team warm-ups, skill sessions, obstacle courses and enjoyable workouts which help teach the benefits of exercise. Therefore instilling the foundations of keeping fit, developing essential life skills and creating a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children.
CrossFit Kids Classes run every Friday at 1645 for 45 minutes. Classes will be for kids aged 6-11 years, however if your child falls out of this age bracket, then please speak direct with Kerry as they may still be able to join in.
Prices will be £5 per child per session, with discounts applying for advance block booking of classes.
CrossFit Teens - Fridays 1545-1645 for teens aged 12-15 years. This class will be largely based upon individual skill, athleticism, and maturity. (In some cases younger children who demonstrate a higher level of competence may be invited to attend this session). Prices are £6 per teen, per class.

CrossFit Kids, forging the future of fitness!
Currently we are only running the following classes: Kids (6-11) and Teens (12-15) however we will be looking at developing this over time to include: Preschool / Nursery (ages 3-5); and Teens (ages 15-18).
CrossFit Teens (15+)
Teens between 15-18, are permitted to train in adult WOD classes (once they have completed the intro sessions and have shown a required level of competence), but must have a parent or guardian in attendance when training. Discounts apply for teens on monthly memberships and punchcards.
Please note that it is not the age of your child that is the deciding factor for what class he or she attends. It is largely based upon individual skill, athleticism, and maturity and is ultimately decided upon by the Kids Trainer to ensure your child is getting the most out of the CrossFit experience. The Teens class lasts one hour and the Kids class lasts approx 45 minutes.
